Meet the Artist

A graduate of the University of Sioux Falls and transplant to Seattle, Jenn specializes in a combination of collage, painting and printmaking. She prefers to work with items she finds, or those that would otherwise be discarded. For her, experimenting with a variety of materials began as necessity and evolved into a form of reflection on role and material value. Mediums as mundane as fabric patterns, window screens and even corrugated cardboard can be pushed past their conventional uses and transformed into artwork. By giving these components new identities, Jenn forces her viewers to reconsider their notions of the once discarded items.
